A special delegation from the Funtua Local Government led by Chairman Hon. Abdulmutallab Jibrin Goya, alongside Hon. Barrister Abubakar Muhammad Gardi (Member of the House of Representatives for Funtua & Dandume), visited the home of the late Sheikh Sa’idu Musa Funtua, who passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025, after a period of illness.
During the condolence visit, Chairman Goya presented one bag of maize, one bag of rice and a cash gift of N100,000 to the bereaved family. Hon. Barrister Gardi donated two bags of rice and a gallon of Turkey cooking oil.
Special prayers were offered for the repose of the late Sheikh’s soul, asking Allah to forgive him, grant him peace in his final resting place, and bestow patience and strength upon his family and the community.
Those who accompanied the delegation included Alhaji Bara’u Yusuf Maikwa Dukke (Supervisory Councilor, Health Department, Funtua), Alhaji Shu’aibu (Mammam Daura), Alhaji Hamisu Milloniya, Alhaji Lawal Inuwa (P.A. to the Chairman), Alhaji Oga Bara’u Mai Yadi Funtua and Kabir Labaran.
The people of Funtua mourn the passing of this respected cleric and community leader, remembering his years of service, devotion and wisdom.
