The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, May 26 around 5:30 a.m. when gunmen stormed her residence and whisked her away to an unknown location before security forces could intervene.
Sources confirmed to Zagazola Makama that troops of the Nigerian Army and other operatives were immediately mobilized following a distress call. A full-scale search-and-rescue operation has now been launched to secure her freedom.
Military authorities, including @DHQNigeria and @HQNigerianArmy, have assured the public of their commitment to ensuring the safe return of the abducted officer and restoring calm in the area.
