FRSC Katsina Boss Visits Air Force Base, Seeks Stronger Ties on Safety, Security

In a bid to deepen synergy among frontline stakeholders, the new Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC Katsina, Corps Commander Maxwell Kaltungo Lede, paid a courtesy visit to the 213 Forward Operation Base (FOB) of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) in Katsina on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.

The Sector Commander was warmly received by the Commander, 213 FOB, Air Commodore G.I. Jibia, during the visit, which formed part of his familiarization tour since assuming leadership of the FRSC in Katsina.

Corps Commander Lede emphasized that the visit was designed to foster stronger inter-agency collaboration in key areas such as:

  • Road Safety Awareness
  • Emergency Response Coordination
  • Joint Patrols and Intelligence Sharing
  • Capacity Building Initiatives
  • Logistics and Operational Support

Air Commodore Jibia lauded the initiative, stressing that stronger cooperation between the NAF and FRSC would greatly enhance operational effectiveness and public safety. He pledged continued support to the FRSC’s mission in Katsina State.

The visit was rounded off with a symbolic exchange of plaques by the two commanders, marking a renewed commitment to mutual support and strategic partnership.
