In a remarkable advancement, Kano’s former Commissioner of Police, Muhammad Usaini Gumel FIPMA psc, has been promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police.
A distinguished officer with a reputation for innovation and effectiveness, AIG Gumel is celebrated globally for his exceptional contributions to law enforcement and community engagement.
During his tenure as Commissioner of Police in Kano, Gumel pioneered numerous community policing initiatives that significantly reduced crime rates and enhanced public safety.
