The Funtua unity foundation forum in Katsina State has paid an official visited to the site of new federal university of medical and health sciences funtua.
Speaking the chairman Comrd Mannir Sulaiman stated that the visit was to ascertain the level of progress of the university.
He commended the federal government and Katsina State government under the leadership of Dr Dikko Umar radda PHD for prompt action to accelerate the immediate take off of the university through releasing adequate funds to execute all the necessary structures in the university.
Comrd Mannir Sulaiman said the university come at the right time and right direction which will enable the younger generation to further their studies.
“No doubt with the existing of the university in Funtua zone it will improve education development among our youth”. He said
Comrd Mannir Sulaiman described the governor as a person who value education and revive it for the benefit of people in the state.
In his remarks, the senior trustee of the association who is also a former permanent secretary Alh Hassan Musa expressed satisfaction on the level of works in the university.
Alh Hassan Musa Anda urged students wishing to persue their education to use the opportunity to study in the university for their betterment.
He then called on communities in funtua zone to continue given their support on the programs and policies of present administration to achieve the desired objectives.
In a vote of thanks the association legal advicer Barr magaji liman explained that the university was established within Nigerian laws, considering the population density of the area.
Barr Magaji liman commended the federal and state governments for establishing the school which will also boost the socio economic activities of the area.
Barr Magaji liman called on the host communities to remain law abiding to enable the success of the university.
