Flight operations at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, came to an abrupt halt yesterday following a fire incident that disrupted normal airport activities.
According to flight tracking reports, all commercial flights were suspended, with the only plane to depart being an Ethiopian Airlines cargo flight heading to Addis Ababa.
Authorities are yet to confirm the cause of the fire, but the incident has thrown passenger schedules into chaos, leaving travelers stranded and airlines scrambling to adjust operations.
Passengers are being advised to check with their airlines for updates as emergency response teams work to restore normal flight operations.
