Zamfara State is on edge as armed men loyal to notorious bandit leader Bello Turji stormed the farming community of Fadamar Tara, forcing residents to flee and sparking a deadly clash with vigilante groups.
Eyewitnesses revealed that the bandits, intent on seizing control of the area, displaced farmers, leaving homes and fields deserted. Local vigilantes, known as Yan Sakai, mobilized swiftly, confronting the attackers in a bid to defend the community.
