In a daring operation on Monday, December 9, 2024, troops of the 63 Brigade, Nigerian Army, stormed a kidnappers’ hideout in Ugbolu Forest, Delta State, rescuing four victims in a dramatic turn of events. Acting on precise intelligence, the troops engaged the kidnappers in a fierce gunfight, overpowering the criminals and securing the hostages’ release.

Held captive for several days, the victims had endured harrowing conditions as their captors demanded exorbitant ransoms. The rescue mission, executed with speed and precision, not only freed the hostages but dealt a significant blow to the kidnappers’ operations.
