FG TO COLLABORATES WITH JICA TO TRAIN HEALTH CARE DEVELOPER

The Federal Government in collaboration with the Japanese International Cooperation Agency, JICA is to train 8 health care based start up developers.
The Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA Kashifu Abdullahi stated this at the opening of the training in Abuja.
Mr Abdullahi said the partnership training was an outcome of the Federal Government’s Digital economy master plan.
He said innovation was dynamic therefore changes are constant.
The Japanese Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Sukiyoto Shatisama said said Kapan was interested in enhancing Nigeria’s Digital economy sector through its intervention.
Two of the start ups, Jamil Ahmed and Bappa Ibrahim said the training would immensely enhance their ideas for international standardization.
The JICA representative, Mr Nao Fawu had said the training tagged “ihatch” would open a new vista to ICT sustainability in Nigeria.
