The Federal Government has consoled with the family of Late Idris Abdulazeez Dutsen Tanshi in Bauchi metropolis over the demise of their breadwinner, Sheikh Idris Abdulazeez who departed to the great beyond a fortnight ago
Sheikh Idris Abdulazeez died at the age of 68 years at his Dutsen Tanshi residence in Bauchi after a projected illness. He left behind four wives and 38 children.
The Vice President who was Saturday led to the residence of the late Sheikh Abdulazeez by the State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has prayed for the repose of soul of the deceased in Jannatul Firdaus.
Senator Kashim Shettima was earlier at the Bauchi Central Mosque in the vicinity of the Emir’s Palace where he gave out in marriage the daughter of a Business tycoon, Alh. Yakubu Mohammed (AYM) Shafa.
The wedding Fatiha of the daughter of AYM Shafa which was supervised by the emir, Dr. Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu, was presided over by the Bauchi Chief Imam, Sheikh Bala Ahmed Baban-Inna.
The event witnessed by state and federal government top officials including the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, and his Foreign Affairs counterpart, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate and Amb. Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, also pulled an unprecedented crowd from within and outside the state.
The Vice President had earlier on Friday grace the wedding fatiha of the daughter of Bauchi ex-governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar (SAN) and his turbaning ceremony as the first MAKAMA BABBA, a position of a district head in the Bauchi emirate council hierarchy.
