A Nigerian man, 52-year-old Adeloye Johnson, has been arrested for allegedly paying bride price with counterfeit money in a bizarre case that has shocked both families and sparked online debates about trust and dowry practices.
The suspect reportedly paid lobola for his 22-year-old fiancée, Sandra Chauke, just three months into their whirlwind romance.
