Tel Aviv was jolted by a series of loud explosions late Thursday night following what Israeli military sources have confirmed as a barrage of Iranian missile strikes. Panic swept across the bustling metropolis as air raid sirens wailed and residents scrambled for shelter amid growing fears of a regional war.
Initial reports indicate that several missiles evaded Israel’s Iron Dome defense system, striking multiple locations across the city. Emergency services have been deployed, with unconfirmed reports of casualties and significant infrastructural damage.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility, describing the strike as “a retaliatory response” to recent Israeli military actions in the region. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are yet to disclose the full extent of the damage but warned of “imminent and forceful response.”
As the world watches with bated breath, diplomatic channels are scrambling to deescalate what many fear could spiral into a full-scale regional confrontation.
