Ex Nasarawa Deputy Gov.Sen.Ewuga commends President Tinubu for conversion of DASH to Teaching Hospital

Ex Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State and erstwhile Minister of State Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja who once represented Nasarawa North Senatorial District in the Red Chambers, Sen. Solomon Ewuga has expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the approval for the conversation of Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital (DASH), Lafia to Federal University Teaching Hospital Lafia.

Ewuga who made this known in a statement made available to the Citizenship Media in Abuja on Thursday said that on behalf of the people of Nasarawa State, expressed his profound gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the approval of the takeover and conversion of DASH Lafia, into the Federal University Teaching Hospital Lafia.

This, according to him, “is a significant decision, following the request by the Nasarawa State Government which marks a monumental step forward in the development of the state’s healthcare delivery and the educational sectors”.

“The conversion of Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital into a federal teaching hospital will not only serve as a pivotal platform for the training of only the medical students but will also add values to the quality of healthcare delivery available to our people”

He noted that the initiative will also place Lafia’s as a centre for seeking of medical services the present generation and even yet unborn”

He said that Tinubu’s commitment to improving health services of Nigerians is unwavering as is evident through his actions and commitments in the revitalisation health sectors across the nation.

According to Ewuga, Tinubu’s decision reflects the critical needs by the people of Nasarawa to provide healthcare services and medical education for them and even beyond.

He further extended his appreciation to the Governor of Nasarawa Stat, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, for his proactive role in championing the conversion of the state medical facility to a teaching hospital recognizing the profound impact it will have on the host community and other neighboring states.

“Once again, I thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his visionary leadership for prioritizing the needs of our people” Sen. Ewuga added.
