A Highly Respected Paramount Traditional Ruler and First-Class Emir in Bauchi State, High Royal Highness Alhaji Muhammad Yunusa Danyaya has passed away.
Emir Yunusa Muhammad Danyaya was said to have died last night after a brief illness, the Special Adviser to the governor on media and publicity, Mukhtar Gidado Mohammed announced Sunday morning
The Special Adviser said, “It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts, that the Bauchi State Government announces the passing of His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ningi, Alhaji (Dr.) Yunusa Muhammad Danyaya OON”.
“His death has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of the people of Ningi emirate , Bauchi State, and Nigeria at large”, the Government House statement said.
Bauchi state government described the late emir as a man of peace, wisdom, and immense dedication to the welfare of his people, saying “Throughout his reign, he exemplified the highest values of leadership, fostering unity, progress, and development across Ningi Emirate”.
According to the state government, the late emir’s legacy as a guardian of tradition, culture, and Islamic values will continue to inspire future generations.
“In this moment of grief, the Bauchi State Government, led by His Excellency, Governor Bala Mohammed, extends its deepest condolences to the immediate family of the late Emir, the Ningi Emirate Council, and the entire people of Bauchi State”.
The state government while mourning with the late emir in this great loss, played pray that Almighty Allah grants the departed soul eternal peace in Jannatul Firdaus, and grant his family, the people of Ningi, and all those affected by this loss the strength and fortitude to bear the loss .
The Bauchi State Government told the public that the funeral rites of His Royal Highness, the late Emir of Ningi, will be conducted today, Sunday, August 25th, 2024, at 4:00pm at the Ningi Emirate Palace, according to Islamic rites, and urged all citizens to join the sad event in prayer for the repose of the late emir.
Gidado concluded, “His Royal Highness will be remembered as a father to all, a pillar of strength, and a beacon of light in our state. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace, ameen”
