Former Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, stirred emotions at the launch of former Attorney-General Mohammed Bello Adoke’s new book, as he revisited painful memories of political betrayal.
“About 12 years ago in this very hall, I launched The Accidental Public Servant—a reflection of my journey in public service. It laid bare the painful truth: how those closest to you can turn their backs, and how those you’ve helped the most can become your worst enemies,” El-Rufai declared.
His remarks, delivered at the symbolic event, underscored the harsh realities of Nigerian politics and the personal costs of leadership.
