Eid El-Kabir: Akwa Ibom Police Commissioner Preaches Vigilance, Commends Officers’ Sacrifice

 In a strong show of leadership and faith-driven solidarity, the Commissioner of Police, Akwa Ibom State Command, CP Baba Mohammed Azare has extended warm Eid El-Kabir greetings to the residents of the state while reinforcing the call for vigilance and professionalism among security personnel.

In a press release made available to journalists on Monday, the Commissioner saluted the spirit of sacrifice and devotion that characterizes the Islamic festival, urging all to reflect on its deeper meaning even in the midst of celebration.

“While we join our Muslim brothers and sisters in marking this significant spiritual event,” CP Azare stated, “we must also renew our collective commitment to safety, law, and order across the state.”

CP Azare paid glowing tribute to the resilience and unwavering dedication of officers who continue to safeguard lives and property—many of whom will spend the holiday on duty. He emphasized the need for sustained and enhanced security formations, reminding officers to stay alert, collaborate with other agencies, and act with utmost professionalism throughout the festivities.

The Police Chief reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to keeping Akwa Ibom safe, adding that public cooperation remains crucial in preventing crime and ensuring a peaceful Eid celebration.
