As part of efforts to ensure a peaceful Eid-El-Fitr celebration, the Commissioner of Police, Borno State Command, CP Yusufu Mohammed Lawal, has held a crucial security meeting with Tactical Commanders and Divisional Police Officers (DPOs).
The high-level strategy session, which took place on March 28, 2025, at the Command Headquarters in Maiduguri, focused on reviewing security arrangements and reinforcing proactive measures to prevent crime during the festive period.
CP Lawal charged officers to intensify surveillance, remain vigilant, and work relentlessly to safeguard lives and property. He reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to a hitch-free celebration and urged the public to report any suspicious activities.
