On Thursday evening, the Egyptian Consul in Venezuela, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Wahab, hosted a dinner in honor of the Egyptian youth delegation participating in the World Festival of Youth and Students Against Fascism.
The delegation included members of the Nasser Youth Movement, representing Egypt on a global platform.
During the dinner, Mr. Abdel Wahab offered insightful diplomatic advice, encouraging the delegation to strengthen cultural ties and foster dialogue with Venezuelan youth.
Discussions delved into enhancing Egypt-Venezuela relations, focusing on academic and cultural exchanges as a foundation for stronger bilateral cooperation.
The delegation also took part in Venezuela’s National Student Day march, joining thousands of Venezuelan students and international youth representatives in a vibrant celebration of unity and solidarity.
The Egyptian delegation featured prominent figures such as Dr. Mohamed Ezz, a political sociology researcher; Bahaa El-Din Ahmed, a graduate of the Nasser Fellowship for International Leadership; and Mohamed Gamal, journalist and international media team member of the Nasser Youth Movement.
Highlighting the significance of this event, Hassan Ghazaly, founder of the Nasser Youth Movement, emphasized the diplomatic value of youth solidarity in the Global South.
He underscored the movement’s commitment to Afro-Latin and Arab-Latin partnerships through its Youth Diplomacy Unit.
Ghazaly reiterated the critical role of student movements in global resistance against colonialism and modern exploitation, noting their power in uniting youth to achieve social justice and sovereignty.
He described this participation as a key step toward fostering international integration and cultural dialogue, laying the groundwork for a future of shared progress and understanding.
