In recent days, this group has ramped up efforts on social media, rallying young Nigerians, including students, to oppose the EFCC’s enforcement actions, particularly those targeting cybercrimes.
The EFCC suspects that corrupt elements under investigation are manipulating this movement to spark a national uprising, potentially endangering Nigeria’s peace and security.
While the EFCC respects citizens’ right to protest, it will not tolerate any disruption of law and order, especially around its offices nationwide.
The EFCC urges parents, guardians, and educational leaders to prevent their wards from being exploited as pawns in this dangerous scheme.
The Commission remains committed to its fight against corruption and cybercrime, aiming to safeguard the future of Nigerian youth.
