Abeokuta, Ogun State — Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Lagos Zonal Directorate 2, have arrested 93 suspected internet fraudsters in a major sting operation carried out in the Ogun State capital.
The coordinated raid, conducted in the early hours of Sunday, August 10, 2025, followed credible intelligence linking the suspects to various cybercrime activities.
During the operation, EFCC operatives recovered 18 vehicles and numerous mobile devices allegedly used in perpetrating the crimes.
The anti-graft agency confirmed that the suspects will be arraigned in court upon the conclusion of investigations.
