
Katsina state government has restated its determination to continue to uplift the standard of education in the state.
The Executive Chairman katsina state Universal Basic Education Board, Lawal Buhari Daura, disclosed this while launching the distribution of Motorcycles and Laptop computers to 17 Quality Assurance officers of the local government areas.
Mr Daura, who noted with satisfaction on the continuous quality assurance by the staffers of the Board and the areas, urged on them to continue to maintain the tempo.
He then commended the efforts of the state government and the Universal Basic Education Commission towards the development of Basic Education in the state.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Director Quality Assurance of the Board, Muhammad Lawal Kankia explained that the purchase and distribution of the motorcycles and the computers was done with a view to enhance effective quality Assurance delivery in the state.
He further maintained that the Universal Basic Education Board in collaboration with Ubec had earlier in the yeartrained 20 quality Assurance officers of the Board to ensure productivity and efficiency.
In his vote of thanks,the chairman of National Association of Education Secretaries Katsina state chapter,Usman Umar Maiadua expressed appreciation to the Government and the Ubec for all their support to develop the Education Sector in the state.
