Education : Community Sensitization Begins To Yeilded Result In Yobe

The office of the Ag. Education Secretary, Mallam Hamisu Ado side by side with other critical stakeholders commences sensitisation activities where teaming stakeholders were engaged on how best they contribute their quarter toward promoting the standard of Education at the level of their communities.

Their campaign Yeilded positive result as Head of Dagirari Community, Alhaji Maigari and his entourage stormed the Nguru LGEA secretariat for a thank you visit.

Immediately, after he was received by the Ag. Education Secretary, Maigari stated that after series of the visit paid to the community by the Ag. Education Secretary they begins to see reasons for taking their wards and children to the formal schools.

Maigari said, ” after careful observation of their children’s behaviour in the village we realized that our children were indecently behaving looking at their hair cut styles and other immoral acts exhibited at their will”.

Secondly, the amount of courage displayed by the Ag. Education Secretary where his office last week organized a training workshop most of us from the village were invited and exposed to the idea behind establishing the School Based Management Committee, ( SBMC).

“During the training workshop 7 community members represent 9 School Communities, infact the training workshop definitely widen our horizons”.

” we are very grateful to the development partner which is UNICEF that shoulder the training while at the same time we thanks everyone who in one way or the other contributed to the success of our training”. Alhaji Maigari concluded
