The Chairman of Tsauri A’ Ward, Kurfi Local Government, Katsina State, Danjuma Abubakar, has been suspended following a vote of no confidence by the Executive Committee of his ward.
Suspension effective from September 17, 2024, stems from Abubakar’s unauthorized attempt to suspend Distinguished Senator Umar Ibrahim Tsauri, CON.
The committee, dismayed by Abubakar’s actions, deemed his conduct as a violation of several sections of the PDP Constitution (2017). The decision was swift, with Abubakar ordered to hand over all party properties and stop representing himself as Chairman pending further investigation by the Disciplinary Committee.
