The Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, led a delegation on behalf of the Kano State Government to visit Hajiya Fadi Rabi’u, a pilgrim from Bichi Local Government, who passed away four days after returning from Saudi Arabia, and Hajiya Yelwa Takai, who recently received medical treatment in Saudi Arabia.
This was containing in a statement singed and made available to journalist on Sunday.
During the visit, it was noted that two pilgrims from Kano State have been ill in Saudi Arabia. The second pilgrim is Hajiya Yelwa Takai from Takai Local Government. In light of her condition, the Board has extended its support by providing food items to their families.
These items include a big bag of rice, a gallon of groundnut oil, a carton of spaghetti, and some monetary assistance for their families.
The Kano State Government remains committed to the well-being of its pilgrims and will continue to provide necessary support and care.
The Director General was accompanied by all management staff of the Board as well as some Local Government Hajj center officers.
