Defence Minister Urges Army to Redouble Effort in Improving Security Situation of the Country

The Minister of Defence, retired Major General Bashiru Magashi has urged the Nigerian Army to remain resolute this year and redouble efforts in improving the security situation across the country.
He stated this in Abuja when he played guest at the Army Headquarters Garrison West Africa Social Activities, WASA, 2021.
General Magashi while commending the military for their commitment so far in curbing insecurity said their are still room for improvement as the federal government is committed to improving their welfare.
The Commander Army Headquarters Garrison, Major General, Sanusi Dahiru while appreciating all for honouring the WASA, 2021, pledged the commitment of the garrison to sustain the tempo of curbing insecurity across its territory.
Among top dignitaries who graced the occasion was The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Farouk Yahaya and representatives of service Chiefs.
The event witnessed a display of various cultural dances, comedy as well as presentation of gifts to special dignitaries.
