In a touching tribute to two prominent figures, the Darazo community in Bauchi State has donated two newly constructed primary schools in memory of the late Malam Abba Kyari, former Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, and late Alhaji Baba Baraya, a celebrated educationist.
The schools, located along Gabchiyari Road and in the Kawada New Layout of Darazo Local Government Area, were officially commissioned and handed over to the Provost of the College of Education Darazo over the weekend.
Speaking at the event, Usman Ya’u, representing the donors, emphasized that the schools are dedicated to serving the less privileged in the community, ensuring access to quality education for all.
The gesture underscores the enduring legacies of Malam Abba Kyari and Alhaji Baba Baraya, whose contributions to public service and education continue to inspire development in the region.
