The Dangote Group has taken delivery of 4,000 brand-new Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) trucks, marking a bold leap in its distribution strategy and reinforcing its commitment to cleaner energy across Nigeria and beyond.

“We are delighted to receive 4,000 brand-new CNG trucks as part of our bold distribution initiative, championing cleaner energy and more efficient transportation across Nigeria and beyond,” the company said in a statement on Saturday.

The newly acquired fleet is set to significantly cut down diesel dependency, reduce carbon emissions, and improve logistics efficiency for one of Africa’s largest conglomerates. This initiative aligns with the group’s broader sustainability goals and supports national efforts to transition toward greener alternatives in the face of global climate challenges.
