Dangote Backs Naira for Crude Policy Despite Potential Losses – VP Edwin

In a bold move to support Nigeria’s economy, Aliko Dangote has agreed to the federal government’s proposal to trade crude in naira at the Dangote Refinery, despite anticipated financial setbacks.

Dangote, through his vice president, Edwin, expressed his willingness to accept losses to stabilize the Naira and ease the nation’s foreign exchange crisis.

“We understand the risk,” Edwin quoted Dangote, “but the country is in dire need, and someone must step up. I am ready to face the loss for the nation’s greater good.”
