Due to the deteriorating Security situation in Azare town and environs following the destruction of public property, stealing and victimization the State Governor Bala Muhammad has approved the imposition of a 24 hrs curfew within Katagum with immediate effect in order to contain the situation.
Additionally the Governor has directed all security Agencies to wade in and ensure that the hoodlums are fished out and brought to book.
In a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government Ibrahim Muhammad Kashim, calls on law-abiding citizens to corporate with the Security Operatives in this trying moment.
