In a bid to strengthen community policing and deepen collaboration with traditional institutions, the Commissioner of Police in Zamfara State, CP Ibrahim Balarabe Maikaba, on Tuesday, August 6, paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Maradun, His Royal Highness Alhaji Garba Muhammad Tambari, MFR.
During the visit at the Emir’s palace in Maradun, CP Maikaba underscored the crucial role of royal fathers in promoting peace and intelligence gathering, reaffirming the Police Command’s readiness to work closely with traditional leaders to tackle security challenges across the state.
“Our partnership with traditional rulers is vital for effective policing and conflict resolution at the grassroots level,” CP Maikaba stated, adding that his leadership remains committed to proactive engagement with communities.
In his response, the Emir praised the Police for their ongoing efforts in safeguarding lives and property, pledging the unwavering support of the Maradun Emirate towards building a more secure Zamfara.
The visit ended with special prayers for enduring peace in Zamfara State and Nigeria at large.
