Katsina, March 28, 2025 – The Katsina State Police Command has officially welcomed CP Bello Shehu, as its 26th Commissioner of Police following his deployment by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM.

A seasoned officer with over three decades of service, CP Shehu hails from Dukku LGA, Gombe State. His extensive experience spans operations, investigations, and administration, with notable roles including ADC to a former First Lady, Unit Commander in Kano, and Deputy Contingent Commander for Nigeria’s UN Mission in East Timor.

Addressing officers and stakeholders, CP Shehu reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring Katsina’s security and called for public cooperation in tackling crime. With a track record of leadership and strategic law enforcement, his tenure is expected to reinforce safety across the state.
