The Commissioner of Police, Katsina State Command, CP Bello Shehu, today welcomed a delegation from 9ja Food Fiesta, a youth-focused NGO, on a courtesy visit to his office.
Led by Dr. Mohammed Mustapha, the group briefed the Police Commissioner on their mission to empower 2,000 Katsina youths through agriculture and vocational training. The initiative, carried out in partnership with the Ministry of Women Affairs and backed by Her Excellency, Hajiya Zulaihat Dikko Umaru Radda, the First Lady of Katsina State, aims to provide sustainable livelihood opportunities and curb youth restiveness.
CP Bello Shehu lauded the project as a “timely and commendable intervention,” assuring the Command’s full support to ensure a hitch-free implementation.
The visit concluded with a symbolic group photograph, capturing the moment of collaboration between law enforcement and development stakeholders.
