Katsina state government

The Akwa Ibom State Commissioner of Police, CP Baba Mohammed Azare, has called on journalists in the state to embrace balanced reportage in order to promote peace, professionalism, and public trust.

Azare made the charge when the newly elected leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Akwa Ibom State Council, led by its Chairman, Comrade Nsibiet John, paid him a courtesy visit at the State Command Headquarters in Uyo.

While commending the CP for his outstanding leadership and commitment to safeguarding lives and property, Comrade John praised his media-friendly approach and pledged the Union’s continued partnership with the police in promoting peace and security.
