Court Slaps Kano with N10M Fine for Violating Bayero’s Freedoms

The Federal High Court has ruled in favor of Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, ordering the Kano State government to compensate him with N10 million for breaching his fundamental human rights.

The court found that Bayero’s rights to personal freedom and freedom of movement had been violated.

Additionally, the court mandated that security forces cease any further arrest, detention, threats, intimidation, harassment, or disruptions towards Bayero.
