The simmering crisis rocking the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Katsina State took a dramatic turn as a High Court ordered an immediate suspension of all party activities, plunging the opposition camp into uncertainty.
The ruling followed a suit filed by the party’s chairman, Usman Wamba, against some members of the party, the ADC, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), amid escalating internal wrangling.
In a firm directive, the court barred the party from holding meetings, congresses, or any form of political gathering pending the determination of the case.
The legal battle is slated to commence on April 15, 2026, setting the stage for a decisive showdown that could reshape the party’s structure in the state.
