The Inspection Team on the rehabilitation work of three Clinics in each of the 11 LGAs of Funtua Senatorial District has appreciated the level of work done by local councils Chairmen and respective contractors handling the projects.
Leader of the Team who is also the Director of Admin and Supply from the State Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Alhaji Salisu Yakubu Katsina made this known to Newsmen shortly after inspecting the last Clinic selected for the rehabilitation work at Karaduwa Village in Matazu LGA.
Alhaji Salisu Yakubu explained that the Chairmen of the local councils in the Senatorial District are really exhibiting unique commitment towards ensuring conducive environment for healthcare delivery in their respective areas.
Members of the inspection Team include Professionals selected from MLGCA , Ministry of Works,Housing and Transport, Office of the S G S, Bureau for Public Procurement , Office of the S A Monitoring and Evaluation as well as the State Primary Healthcare Development Agency.
In all the 33 selected Clinics so far inspected by the Team, the benefitting communities were positively gingered by the professional approach given with regards to quality nature, level reached and ensuring compliance with the Bill of Quantity of the project.
During the Three – Day inspection tour across the Senatorial District, Chairmen of the local Councils and other relevant stakeholders respectively conducted the Team round, where most of the relevant materials seen on ground.
Both Chairmen of the local councils and benefitting communities have registered their appreciation to the state Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda and MLGCA as well as the Inspection Team in making the project a reality.
