Chief Baltasar Engon took to his X account to address a wave of viral videos, which he claims are artificially edited to mislead the public.
In a direct message to the people of Equatorial Guinea, Engon emphasized, “These videos are nothing but AI manipulations designed to tarnish my reputation.”
Engon, a prominent figure in Equatorial Guinea, alleges that adversaries are resorting to advanced technology to undermine his standing.
“My enemies are trying too hard,” he wrote, vowing to keep fighting for transparency and truth amid growing attempts to discredit him through digital deception.
