Buhari has left an indelible mark on Nigeria, shaping the country through his vision, leadership, and unwavering patriotism.
Born on December 17, 1942, in Daura, Katsina State, Muhammadu Buhari has always been a man of purpose. Rising through the ranks of the Nigerian Army, he served as a military head of state from 1983 to 1985 and later as the democratically elected President of Nigeria from 2015 to 2023.
His life reflects a commitment to Nigeria’s progress, a rare blend of courage, humility, and an unyielding drive to serve his people.
A Legacy of Impactful Leadership
President Buhari’s tenure was marked by a deep commitment to tackling Nigeria’s most pressing challenges. He made significant strides in security, initiating bold reforms to combat insurgency and banditry, especially in the Northeast.
His administration’s introduction of the Multinational Joint Task Force strengthened regional security collaborations, which dealt significant blows to terrorism.
Economically, Buhari championed diversification through the Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (ERGP), focusing on agriculture, solid minerals, and manufacturing. 
Under his leadership, the country saw the revival of the rail sector, infrastructural advancements such as the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, the Second Niger Bridge, and modernization of Nigeria’s airports.
He also prioritized financial inclusivity, introducing programs like the Anchor Borrowers’ Program, which empowered millions of farmers and boosted local food production. And the cashless policy that stopped the kidnapping most to standstill were result oriented effort and more. .
The former president is also celebrated for his fight against corruption. His administration launched the Whistleblower Policy and strengthened anti-corruption institutions, ensuring accountability and transparency in public service.
