In a heartfelt message on his X account, Captain Ibrahim Traore of the Burkina Faso military junta extended warm wishes to the Muslim community celebrating Eid el-Kebir today, June 16, 2024.
“May the memory of Abraham’s gesture strengthen our living together and our community of destiny,” he expressed.
Traore called on the faithful to pray for Burkina Faso and urged all Burkinabè to embrace fraternal communion, solidarity, and sharing, as these are the foundations of social cohesion.
“Together, we can build a country of peace. Happy Tabaski Day!” he concluded.
