Brigadier General Caius Baushe appointed new Commander Gusau Brigade

Brigadier General Caius Baushe has assumed duty as the new Commander of 1 Brigade Nigeria Army, Gusau.
The Spokesman of the Command and Army Public Relations Officer, Captain Yahaya Ibrahim made the disclosure in a press statement he sent to media houses.
The Command which covers Kebbi and Zamfara State had before now Brigadier General Isiaka Olatunji as it’s Commander, currently redeployed to the 1 Division Nigerian Army, Kaduna state.
The newly appointed Commander for 1 Brigade, commended his predecessor Brig Gen Olatunji for his remarkable achievements and purposeful leadership in restoring peace and stability within his Operational Area of Responsibility.
He assured that he will sustain and build upon General Olatunji’s legacies. While charging commanders and troops within his area of jurisdiction to brace-up for the enormous task ahead, Baushe urged the commanders not to relent on their oars until peace is finally restored in Zamfara and Kebbi State.
The outgoing Commander in his remarks earlier applauded Officers of the command for their contribution to the success of his tenure as the Command’s head.
He is urged them to accord more support and dedication to Baushe whom he described as an experienced season infantry Senior Officer with the capacity to ho take the affairs of the Brigade to an enviable position.
He equally thanked the Chief of Army Staff for his leadership qualities and the confidence reposed on him.
Highpoints of the events included the signing of the handing and taking over notes, presentation of 1 Brigade flag, presentation of souvenirs, address to soldiers amongst other activities to mark the events.
