In a stunning political shift, Hon. Aliyu Sani Madaki, a fierce supporter of Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and the Member representing Dala Federal Constituency, has officially abandoned the NNPP and the iconic red cap of the Kwankwasiyya movement.
Madaki minced no words in his exit, calling the Kwankwasiyya an “amorphous movement full of lies, treachery, and deception.”
This defection sends ripples through Kano’s political landscape, with Madaki’s departure casting a harsh light on the NNPP’s internal rifts and leaving questions about the party’s unity as the 2027 elections draw near.
