In a landmark development, executives from JBS S.A., the world’s largest meat processing company, visited Kebbi State on Monday, December 9, 2024. The high-profile delegation, led by Mr. Fabio Maia and Mr. Osario Dal Bello, arrived to explore investment opportunities in livestock development, meat processing, and animal health.

The visit, facilitated by the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) under the leadership of its CEO, Hajiya Aisha Rimi, signals a promising future for Kebbi’s agricultural sector. Governor Nasir Idris, the Kauran Gwandu, has been instrumental in positioning the state as a magnet for international investors in agriculture and livestock innovation.

This visit underscores Kebbi’s growing reputation as a hub for agricultural advancement, with global partnerships expected to boost economic growth and create jobs in the state.
