Borno State University, BOSU yesterday Matriculated a total of 2400 newly admitted students at the institution premises.
The Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Umar Kyari Sandabe who disclose this in his address at the institution’s fifth Matriculation ceremony said a total of 174 Comprising 106 males and 68 females got admission through direct entry while 2226 students comprising 1313 males and 915 females were admitted through UTME.
He noted that the admission cut across all the 27 local Government Areas of Borno State including all the states in the federation.
Professor Sandabe called on the newly admitted students to desist from bad behaviors, imbibe reading cultures, discipline and obey constituted authority for them to have an unterrupted academic learning experience.
He However appreciated the Governor of Borno State, Professor Babagana Zulum for him commitment and al time support to the ideals and objectives institution.
