In a strategic move to enhance professionalism and operational efficiency, the Borno State Police Command has rolled out an In-House Refresher Training for its personnel. The initiative aligns with the Inspector General of Police’s directive on capacity building and continuous training to ensure officers are well-equipped to meet modern policing demands.
The training program, designed for continuous implementation, covers essential topics such as the Police Code of Conduct, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), Fundamental Human Rights, and Police Professional Studies. It aims to strengthen accountability, competence, and service delivery within the force.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Nahum Kenneth Daso, the Command remains committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, ensuring that officers are adequately trained to serve and protect the people of Borno State effectively.
