Borno Police Ensure Tight Security for 5th Lake Chad Basin Governors Forum

As the 5th Lake Chad Basin Governors Forum kicks off, the Borno State Police Command has rolled out robust security measures to ensure smooth proceedings.

Commissioner of Police, CP Yusufu Mohammed Lawal, announced the deployment of enhanced security protocols across the region to safeguard the governors and dignitaries gathering from January 27 to 31.

Focused on tackling regional issues like insecurity, climate change, and socio-economic challenges, the forum will benefit from extensive visibility patrols, intelligence gathering, and controlled access to key venues.
