Borno CP Decorates 84 Newly Promoted Officers, Urges Professionalism

In a remarkable stride for personnel welfare, the Commissioner of Police, Borno State Command, CP Mohammed Lawal Yusufu, presided over a ceremony today at the command headquarters to decorate 84 newly promoted senior officers.

The honorees included 10 Chief Superintendents of Police (CSP), 11 Superintendents of Police (SP), and 63 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP). CP Yusufu expressed gratitude to the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, and the Police Service Commission (PSC) for recognizing the dedication of these officers.

In his address, CP Yusufu charged the promotees to maintain professionalism, integrity, and commitment to duty, ensuring they meet international best practices in policing.

CSP Aitiya Joseph Gaya, speaking on behalf of the promoted officers, lauded the CP and his team for their support and guidance, pledging to uphold the trust placed in them to serve the nation with renewed vigor.
