BORLA Hails Ali Mamman Shuwa’s Appointment as NUJ Presidential Adviser

The Borno Radio Listeners’ Association (BORLA) has extended its warm congratulations to Ali Mamman Shuwa on his recent appointment as the Special Adviser to the National President of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ).

In a press statement signed by its Chairman, Comrade Jidda Adam, the association described the appointment as “well-deserved” and a testament to Shuwa’s dedication and professionalism.

The statement highlighted that Shuwa’s elevation to the esteemed national office is a significant source of pride for Borno State. It reflects the national recognition of his leadership qualities and his unwavering commitment to the advancement of the media sector in Nigeria.

“Your elevation is a testament to your dedication, professionalism, and tireless service to the journalism profession, both in Borno State and across Nigeria,” the statement read.

BORLA, an association committed to promoting quality broadcasting and supporting the work of journalists, expressed strong confidence that Shuwa’s tenure will significantly benefit the national body.

The association believes he will help strengthen the NUJ and foster greater unity among its members while upholding the core values of truth and ethical journalism.

The statement concluded with warm wishes for success in Shuwa’s new role, stating, “We wish you a very successful tenure… We have no doubt that you will bring your wealth of experience to bear in this new assignment.”

The entire BORLA membership pledged its continued support and goodwill to Mr. Shuwa as he takes on this new national responsibility.
