The explosive device, reportedly planted by bandits, detonated on a busy stretch of the road, targeting unsuspecting travelers and residents. This tragic incident marks the second bomb attack in the area within weeks, sparking fears of escalating insecurity.
Bandits, traditionally known for kidnappings, cattle rustling, and armed raids, appear to be adopting more sophisticated and deadly tactics, intensifying the threat to lives and safety in Zamfara State.

This alarming trend underscores the urgent need for enhanced security measures to restore peace to Zamfara’s troubled communities.
