Marketers are facing substantial financial losses following a recent attack by Boko Haram/ISWAP militants. The insurgents destroyed property valued in the millions of Naira, targeting thirteen trailers that were loaded with significant quantities of goods belonging to local traders. In addition to the commercial vehicles, the attackers also damaged operational vehicles used by security forces.

The violent incident occurred yesterday on the outskirts of Ngala town, located in Ngala Local Government Area. The disruption was exacerbated when a commercial vehicle, suffering from a mechanical fault, blocked the access road. This obstruction prevented the passage of long vehicles, further complicating the situation.
