BOGIS Warns Against Illegal Land Deals in Borno

Katsina state government

The Borno Geographic Information Service (BOGIS) has issued a stern warning to the public about unauthorized land transactions in the state.

A statement signed by the Executive Secretary, Engineer Adam Bukar Bababe, revealed that some vendors are illegally claiming and selling lands, targeting unsuspecting buyers.

The statement identified the culprits, including Reality Land and Loan Vendors, UAI Land Vendors, Falmata & Sadiq, Gajibo Enterprises, HAMAB Enterprises, Jigalta Investment Company Ltd, and Al-Amana Land and Building Materials, among others.

BOGIS cautioned the public to avoid dealing with these vendors or any land vendor not verified by the agency.

Engaging in transactions with them, the agency warns, is at the buyer’s own risk.

For secure land dealings, BOGIS urged residents to consult directly with the agency.
